About

I am a media artist and a bona-fide nerd. I studied computer science in the dark ages, before hotmail had been invented and the HTML seemed revolutionary. Back then being a computer nerd was REALLY uncool: connoting awkward, weird, culturally irrelevant people and projects, and involving tasteless jokes about the Unix command "finger". Thankfully, I also obtained an honours degree in Photography from the Victorian College of the Arts. My photographs and interactive installations have seen me exhibited nationally and internationally, most recently as part of Experimenta national touring exhibitions, and at the International Symposium for Electronic Art in Singapore, 2008. I quit my corporate day job when the internet started getting interesting again and started working on small-scale web projects. It is creative new media projects that most excite me, and allow me to be culturally relevant and big time nerdy at the same time.
