Hit and Miss

Hit&Miss is an ongoing performance collaboration between myself and Tai Snaith.
We have been working together for the past five years practicing the art of painful stillness, amongst other things. Each performance employs the staple materials of ourselves dressed identically in red and white. The work of Hit&Miss re-visits the 19th century idea of Tableau Vivant (French for Living Picture) with the aim to create frozen moments in time, little deaths, immortalized failures and the palpable tension between sex and death. We often choose to pop up unexpectedly in all sorts of situations such as public spaces, exhibitions, parties, flights, shopping festivals and car club rallies.
