White Collar Undone
For this project I asked frustrated white collar workers how they imagined their workplaces errupting. I then used the responses as the basis for a photographic series. The responses and photographs were then reproduced together in book format.

The boss turns up in an SUV the size of a small house. He gets down and we see he has forgotten his pants. Of course he only has a little one. In the office everyone is straight faced. Noone can tell the boss he forgot to put his pants on. He struts around the office talking on his mobile phone. "My time is worth so much more than yours!" he says. "My time is worth hundreds and thousands of dollars a minute more than yours!" The vertical blinds are all kept on closed. The workers start farting. The place fills with farts. Someone wants to turn on the aircon. A fight breaks out. Punches are thrown.
The boss emerges from the WC. Now its Johns birthday! Lets sing the birthday song! Everyone into the board room! Happy Birthday to John, happy birthday to John, the boss is reading the birthday song lyrics from his airport book, "Human Resource Management for the 90's"

In most meetings I'm in, if the meeting goes more than 15 mins, I have the most powerful urge to run head first through the nearest window. Either that or get naked and just sit and stare.

This time, it's for real.
I first saw him three months ago. Tight suit. Big where it counts.
Our eyes locked. I know he knows we are both gay.

She got a call that someone has left a package for her on level four. She got in the lift and pushed the button for four. The doors closed and the lift moved. The lift doors opened to reveal a small room with a little panel with a row of buttons on it. It was another lift. She blinked and stepped forward into the new lift and pressed four again. The lift doors closed behind her. She felt the lift move and the numbers change one at a time on the panel next to the door. The lift stopped and the doors opened onto another lift. She stepped forward into the lift. She reached out and pressed the button for four. The doors closed and the lift moved. She leant back against the wall and watched the numbers change. The lift stopped. The doors opened. It was another lift.
